Cookies for the Promotional Soul

We just finished our 2012 Responsibility Issue. It is packed with information on compliance, safe practices, USA manufacturing and eco wares. Much of the information came from QCA and specifically Lisa Horn. She and D. Fenton sent a thank-you to the PM offices for being included. Not since the SnugZ goodies last week have we been so excited. The Fresh Beginnings goodies included cookies, mixed nuts and “Thank You” tins, plus a handwritten thank-you note, which is always a classy gesture. So in keeping with classiness, here is my oh-so-haute review of the treats.
The Cookies:
The chocolate chip wonders are the perfect size to satisfy a sugar craving without having the “I just ate an enormous cookie at 10 a.m.” guilts. It paired well with my Dunkin Donuts iced coffee and office water fountain H20.
The Nuts:
I can’t say I am nuts about nuts, but I am nuts about free food. Plus, cashews are essentially sugar with a tiny bit of protein so I added them to my lunch to fulfill my protein portion for the day. They added a bit more salt and deliciousness to my standard meal. Also offered were almonds and a trail mix with craisons. Craisons are amazinz.
The Tins:
Thank you for the thank-you tins. They make me think of the Golden Girls every time I see them. You’re a pal and a confidante. Bonus: the star cello wrap makes me think of this stellar Liz Lemon promotional ham moment.
In conclusion: The real way to someone’s heart is through his or her stomach. (I’d say sweet tooth, but hot sauce and wine work just as well as cookies.)
